Sight & Sound - Clouds

I saw this lovely cloud formation while on the Cliff Walk late this morning, taking my "scenic route" to the library. I always shoot Summer clouds like this with a polarizer filter, which seems to make the clouds stand out more dramatically.

Music: Randy Scruggs playing Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now", from the original Will the Circle Be Unbroken album.

  1. Love the clouds. Are you facing Newport or Jamestown?

  2. Neither, Holly. I was on the Cliff Walk facing east. Foreground is Middletown (and you can kinda see St. George's Gothic Revival spire there on the top of the hill) and in the distance is Little Compton.

  3. Okay, I looked at the picture again. No Little Compton in this one, just Middletown. And that's St. George's spire right smack in the middle of the skyline.

  4. Absolutely stunning!, and yes, now I identify Middletown.
