  1. I've never seen a mushroom/fungus thing that color. I thought it was a fall leaf...it really is pretty in its own way. Nice post Roy!

  4. I'm going through withdrawal symptoms, it's a persistently wet weekend . .lovely to see some 'sulphur' can't complain, we need the rain and it's washing some of that colourful dust away! Have a good one Roy!

  6. Thanks everybody!

Megan - Thanks! Yeah, I'm finally paying heed to all the people who say the same thing. Hence my post last week about "the next step" - my online portfolio (link in sidebar), the Craig's List listing, and my calendars for sale (link in sidebar).

Baino - Heh, heh! Here in the US both "sulfur" and "sulphur" are considered correct, and the "f" spelling was all my spell check recognized. I corrected that and changed everything to "ph" because that's what I grew up with. And it's pouring here, too, for the whole weekend. Oh well...

  8. Last week as I drove home from Braselton, I noticed the sulphur butterflies were on the move. I counted well into the thirties as they fluttered by ones and twos across the highway. I've always loved these bits of lemon yellow - so common - and yet so lovely. My dad always referred to them as "cabbage butterflies" - but true cabbage butterflies are white. As both the yellow and white sulphur species love garden fare, he wasn't far off. Here's a link to more: http://greennature.com/article98.html
