Tuesday in Black & White

I was out shooting for this week's Theme Thursday. I'm planning on posting all mt shots on Thursday in color because some of the shot's I've taken already (I was out Sunday shooting for the theme as well) just don't work very well in b&w, and I don't want to mix things up. But some of the shots I took worked just as well in both, so I thought I'd post the b&w versions as a "taste of things to come." Plus I got a shot of a crumbling wall that just looks so good in b&w. So please, enjoy!

The main entrance to the Newport Public Library.

Back in the stacks, looking down a section of the fiction shelves.

In the stacks again, looking down a row in non-fiction to the reference section.

I just can't resist crumbling walls. I especially like this where the smooth concrete facing has fallen away in spots to reveal the brick wall underneath.
