ReplyDeleteThanks guys. Steph, I actually had this blog long before I found Gather. After that the blog got kinda neglected. now I've figured out how to do both, plus making more internet connections on Gather helped me get an audience for the blog that I didn't have access to before.
ReplyDeleteJody, I still do both. There are things I can do on Gather that wouldn't work as well here, and vice versa. And Gather has a tendency ro stir up ideas for my photography that I probably wouldn't come up with on my own, like the musical instrument shots, and a lot of the light-in-dark and b&w shots, which were all products of challenges on Gather. So there's room for both, and no need to define "levels".
roy, i feel the same way, i had my cranberry herbs blog before gather, then neglected it. recent events really were a good thing, got me going again. i am so enjoying this.

i must say gather has also given me such inspiration through it's challenges as well. i look forward to participating in them again. i have really been getting into picturesocial as of late too.
