Sight & Sound - First Snow

It wasn't forecast (we were just supposed to get occasional flurries this morning), but it snowed steadily for half an hour to 45 minutes around 11 am today, and we got the dusting shown in the following photos. It's not much, but it's our first snow of the Winter, something that always makes my eyes shine and my heart go pitter-patter!

An old bird's nest dusted with our first snow.

My brother ans sister-in-law's house always looks good, but snow makes it look better.

  4. Wow nice house indeed, is that where you're living? Getting hot here and the cicadas are off.

  5. snow, glorious snow.... if the forecasters are correct we'll be getting a new dump starting tomorrow and continuing through wednesday, so i expect you'll be getting the second snow quite soon!

  6. Beautiful snow pics! You should have seen all the snow we had here. I expected you would have had major snow falls too, seeing as you normally have the "same" weather as we do :)
