A Gray Morning

Today's morning walk was a tad gloomy - overcast and some fog. I went up to the area known as the Point, largely populated with some of Newport's oldest colonial-era houses and overlooking the upper harbor, Narragansett Bay, and the Newport Bridge.

  1. Was a bit on th' misty side, yes...seemed to take for-ever to burn off. You did a lot better than I :)

Wasna a total wash as we got to see some of th' early fall colours, as we got into Amherst :D

Windsor Dam was shrouded in fog and no eagles to be spotted this day :(

  2. grey...with a lot of green too. Love all the lushness is the last two shots. With the drought, everything is so parched and brown here. It really makes me appreciate all the green in your photos.

  3. I like what the mist does to the scene with the bridge. I always used to like taking photographs when there was a thick mist or fog : we just don't seem to get as many of them these days.
