There's a lot of red in Mama Gaia's wardrobe!

  5. Red in nature is so wonderful. I grew up with Peter Gabriel. Mum loved him. To me, he was the better element of genesis. i have no time for Phil Collins.

  6. I recently read that red (hehe) appeals to birds and yellows and blues to bees. Seems to be true. I have nectar birds in my red bottlebrush grevilleas and loads of bees in the lavender and plumbago. So there you go. Gaia at her most organised and disciplined and all thanks to a little colour. I LOVE Peter Gabrial and had forgotten this song completely!

  8. What a FAN tastic red in your first photo. At first I thought they were persimmons. My husband and I had a persimmon tree at our first home. Never knew what to do with them. They were beautiful...more orange. But those winterberries! What a great capture.
