So let's celebrate, with arguably one of the best Rock bands in history playing one of their signature songs - Van Halen playing "Jump!" live in Toronto in 1995. Have you ever been in a club, or even at a Van Halen concert, and watched the crowd when that opening synth riff hits? Yup; everybody automatically starts hopping! This song is all about sheer joy, and you just can't help but JUMP!

Photo reminiscent of a certain mouse, no?
ReplyDeletebut a completely different kind of song energy!
ReplyDeleteTut, I couldn't help it! I took this shot on Wednesday planning to use it today, and what did I see first thing this morning but mouse's crocuses. Oh well, more proof that great minds think alike. Or as Kim likes to think, twins separated at birth.
ReplyDeleteMight as well JUMP!
ReplyDeleteHa! just one more interesting aspect of blog connections. Happy Spring, Roy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post!!! Love the color of spring...
ReplyDeleteAll together now:
ReplyDeleteJUMP!
Must revisit Van Halen next time I go to Rhapsody.
Perfect shot. Superb focus and lighting. Good choice of music - Spring is a very bouncy time. :-)
ReplyDelete(Jumping!)
ReplyDelete... just like those little crocus' jumped right up out of winter!
love the croci! I thought I was seeing double it is almost identical to Kimy's!
ReplyDeletetee hee.... hey bro!!!
ReplyDeleteman, with the babies and films I am really falling behind keeping up with my hood here in the blogosphere!! what a coincidence that our croci are the same color! and definitely different energy...never been a van halen girl, but there was a lot of nice positive energy in this bouncy tune!!! not that I dislike them, they just were never really on my radar.....and hey if my twin thinks they are one of the best rock bands in history, I think I best readjust my radar!!
Beautiful photos. Found your site interesting...That you live in Newport with all it's high end real estate and great influx of visitors in the summer your photo opts may be endless. I was @ Beavertail park last summer running from the waves...it was phenomenal and breath taking.
