I meandered through the Dykeman Wetlands Park on the way to the grocery store and captured the sights and sounds of emerging Spring. More trees are blossoming, including Redbud and Apple trees along the nature trail. And more flowers on the forest floor, including the newly-arrived Violets. And of course the birds are singing up a storm.

very lovely,...and there's that Martin's house again...I want one! ha.
ReplyDeleteCan you identify the iris-looking flower? I recognised the Redbud, even tho I've not lived in their grow regions for 30 yrs. Love that tree.
ReplyDeleteThat first flower is a Violet. Common Blue Violet to be exact.
DeleteHey Roy.I Hope Your Easter Is Fine.'Love The View!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots, especially I think the redbud & the apple--& I love the soundscapes; very nice touch!
ReplyDeleteThings change so quickly at this time of the year, don't they. Poor Amy is being dragged through the woods on an almost daily basis so that I can catch the bluebells at their best. The richness of the colours in your photographs are an inspiration
