A potpourri of photography and words about Nature, social issues, and anything else that crosses my path during the day.
omg - i have two little pitchers similar to the one in your bottom photo - they are 'family heirlooms' one is etched on the red with "mother 1909" and the other doesn't have any inscription.
ReplyDeletei can't quite make out what yours says.
i ran across a pitcher like these when i visited rachel carson's family home in western pa and got a kick out of it.
oh, by the way, i streamlined my url for mouse medicine. i might have to build up my blogroll, but in the meantime you might need to revise your blogroll in order to maintain updates.... as i noticed my latest post wasn't on your blogroll, only the previous one

I want to see that celtic looking tall cup on the bottom right...can you photograph that one in color? Any story behind it? Very cool.
ReplyDeleteOK, if we are bidding, I make a bid for the beer mug on the bottom left of the second picture.
ReplyDeleteBoth excellent photos, but I especially like the second one of the glasses & cups/mugs--great composition.
