used to sail at camp every year, breeze in the hair as we zigged and zagged along the chop. you make me yearn for those day. the painting is great!
ReplyDeleteWonderful post! With one pic & a song, you have captured Summer!
ReplyDeleteHey, that's pretty neat! And the song always did relax me, a bit :)
ReplyDeleteLoved the "painting!"
ReplyDeleteBeautiful theme and execution of it. Loved the photos.
ReplyDeleteSan Antonians and for former San Antonians of a certain age (I won't say which one) remember Christopher Cross as the voice of Dyer Electronics jingle:
ReplyDeleteA Dyer deal
is stereo steal
Dyyyyy-er
Electroooonics!
beautiful treatment for this photo. It embodies summer on the sea.
ReplyDeleteLove your vibrant colors!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful changes to the picture! And now I have the Sailing song happily stuck in my head...aahhhh! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful ship and I like the photoshop technique you used.
ReplyDeleteI saw Christopher Cross last year in an ensemble doing a Beatles "40 Years Ago Today" tribute -- he still has a great voice.
Your photography is beautiful!
I went sailing once and tipped the boat!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! You had me fooled for a split second there with that really eye-popping photo.
ReplyDeleteGreat musical accompaniment.
Very summery!
Man does this bring back summer for me. I grew up with a sailboat (on Lake Champlain) and every weekend we went out in it. Ah, just heaven.
ReplyDelete...I totally thought it was an oil when I first saw it. Very cool...... Beautiful photo....
ReplyDeleteLove your treatment of the photo (which is a good one, anyway!) Enjoyed the song, though I'm not that familiar with it. I was expecting Rod Stewart's 'Sailing.' :)
ReplyDeleteThe picture of the schooner and the lighthouse is amazing. It belongs on a wall.
ReplyDeleteYouve caught the Essense of Summer.
ReplyDeleteIt must be a human instinct to seek out water in The Summer.
Regards From
Tony.
