Weekend Wanders

The best shots from my wanderings in the Dykeman Spring Nature Park yesterday and today. As you can see, things are quite lush right now; unlike last Summer, we've had more than adequate rainfall this year.

A Spring Azure butterfly
Unidentified ghostly mushrooms growing in the mulch on the trail by the creek
A Painted Lady butterfly sipping on Nodding Thistle up on the meadow

  1. The first few photos started the tune "Green, Green" by The New Main Street Singers... I mean, by "The New Christy Minstrels"... running through my mind.

    1. Oh my, I haven't thought about those guys in years! I always wondered if they used vaseline on their teeth; I never saw them sing without big, cheesy grins on their faces.
