I don't often see Papa and Mama at the feeder at the same time; they usually trade off one at a time. But this evening they arrived together, and I got some great shots. Ain't Spring grand?!

ReplyDeleteI have to wonder why they decided to use Dean Martin's version of "The Birds and the Bees" instead of the Jewel Akens version in the recent VW commercial.
Probably because whoever put the commercial together had only ever heard Dino's version and didn't know there was an earlier, original one. It's only old fogies like you and me who know the original, or people who have watched and rewatched "American Graffiti".
