Lush

We've been experiencing just the right balance between rain and sun lately, and the result has been lush growth everywhere. I'm off today and tomorrow and the weather is gorgeous - after a day of soaking rain we get moderate temperatures, a nice dry breeze, and drop-dead gorgeous blue skies with wispy white clouds. I wandered through the Dykeman Wetlands taking pictures of the lush late Spring/early Summer growth. Oh, and in case anyone's interested, the flowers in the first shot are on a Northern Catalpa tree.

  1. ...wow...it is verdant! My grandparents had two huge Catalpa trees in their front yard. Seeing the flowers make me think of them.
