We've been experiencing just the right balance between rain and sun lately, and the result has been lush growth everywhere. I'm off today and tomorrow and the weather is gorgeous - after a day of soaking rain we get moderate temperatures, a nice dry breeze, and drop-dead gorgeous blue skies with wispy white clouds. I wandered through the Dykeman Wetlands taking pictures of the lush late Spring/early Summer growth. Oh, and in case anyone's interested, the flowers in the first shot are on a Northern Catalpa tree.

...wow...it is verdant! My grandparents had two huge Catalpa trees in their front yard. Seeing the flowers make me think of them.
