  1. ooh these pictures make me want to scurry indoors to an open fire. I dislike fog intensely. Very wintry!

  4. My God, Roy....these are gorgeous. They also have that "Heathcliff and Catherine" feel...

  5. I am there in spirit. A very bundled and gloved spirit, thinking about the spirits we will have when we get back from this cliff walk! :)

  8. Thanks everybody!

Cinnamon and Megan - Actually, it wasn't all that cold. We were in the low 50s (10º - 15ºC), which is paractically tropical for around here in Winter. That's why it was foggy - a warm air mass moving over cold water and whatever snow the rain left us.

Kelly - It does have that Wuthering Heights feel, doesn't it. In fact, the late Doris Duke's home, Rough Point, has always struck me as a clone of the Yorkshire mansion. Here it is in all its floomy glory, from that weird thunderstorm we got in July.

Dot - ((sniff)) It was warm, it had rained overnight, and most of that wonderful, beautiful 22 inches (56cm)of snow that graced our Solstice and Christmas got melted away. I'm still in mourning!
