Kelly - that's literally what he was doing, at least in regards to me. He was hanging around the thing and saw me show up, so he flew back about 10 feet, then slowly but surely crept his way back, keeping an eye on me to make sure I wasn't trying to steal it from him. By the time he made it back to the sandwich I had become background to him, and he scarfed down his lunch without even looking my way.
that is one handsome crow!
