Cutting Across the Meadow Again

Another single day off, and it's a cool, clear, dry day, so while running my usual single day off errands I cut across the upland meadow in the Dykeman Spring Nature Park because I knew there'd be an unusually clear view of Blue Mountain up there in this weather. I wasn't wrong. And the meadow itself was looking good, too. Enjoy!

  1. That's gorgeous! It's nice to have that humidity gone, isn't it?

  2. Love these - a bit different to see you posting wide open spaces. Would you allow me to use the first one (with the tree and curving road) as a reference for a painting?

    1. Sure, go ahead. The shot I got of this in late Fall/early Winter reminds me of a Wyeth painting.
