Wetlands

After I took the backstreet pictures Wednesday I wandered over to the Dykeman Wetlands Park to see what was going on there, as I hadn't been there in a while. Not much new, but it's still a nice place to walk in. Here are the results of that walk.

  1. I love it when you give us photos with just a splash of a bright color or two here and there!

  2. You captured "not much" very beautifully! Love the photo of the ducks, & also the "splash" of red against the dormant grass in the others.

  3. Not rad - but red, red, red. Beautiful bridge! And the one with the water is sublime.

  4. Oops - I meant the one at the bottom with the most water.

  5. There is such a wonderfully warm glow about this set of photographs. I appreciate that it was probably a very gold day, but the rich browns and golds just seem to send out a radiant glow.

  6. I've always wanted a Purple Martin house like in the first photo! I've seen kits at Lowes before...several years ago...even with the long pole! I've never seen a martin in my yard though, so I'm wondering if the house alone would make them come. Any ideas? There's just something really charming about those houses to me!

    Lovely photos, as always, Roy!

  7. I'm with Foxy; very nice captures, love the color focal points. Sure does look like Spring already. This was truly a non-winter.
