Encroaching Spring

Some signs seen today that Spring is moving in.

This moss on an old log is looking a lot greener lately.

And this Corn Speedwell looks to be the first flower to bloom here.

  1. ...you have flowers blooming!!! Lucky you..... I was out yesterday afternoon looking for a blossom, but could find none. I did see lots of winter birds and deer, but nary a bloom. Love that first photo. The green made me feel good.

  2. Aww the speedwell reminds me of forget-me-knots which we don't get here. I'm glad spring's on the way as we sink into a very muggy and warm autumn.
