A Sunday Constitutional

On my way to the grocery store I walked through the Dykeman Springs Wetlands Park to look for signs of Autumn now that it's officially Autumn. I noted lots of Fall Asters (the photo is of Bushy Asters) and other Fall flowers, including the included shot of Yellow Ironweed. I got a shot of the red bridge over the creek because even though you've seen it before I just can't resist that reflection!

And when I got home I found the feeder station out my kitchen window flocked with baby Goldfinches feeding away, plus a Chipmunk foraging among the leftovers kicked over the side into the grass below. I'm guessing he's storing up for the Winter; look at those stuffed cheeks!

As always, you can view these as a web album here: A Sunday Constitutional.

  2. Wow, wonderful as always. Yep, I'm still alive and kicking and keeping up with some old favourites. Good to see you have not lost your touch.
