Well, it's February now and still no significant snow. This tends to render the scenery a bit boring from week to week, so this time I decided to concentrate on the animals who hang around. Birds came to mind first; the day is warm (we're getting up to around 60ยบ F this afternoon, which is very rare in these parts) and the birds were being very vocal about it. But I also found a Gray Squirrel climbing around on a tree branch and a Groundhog getting a little sun just outside of the east end of the meadow.
