These Caught My Eye

Off today and tomorrow, which makes today errands day. As usual I walked to the grocery store via the Dykeman Spring Nature Park. These were the sights that caught my eye and translated to photo well. Enjoy!

  1. Is that Virginia Creeper on that Martin house? Looks like it and it turns brilliant red in the fall. I've some sprawling across the lawn. Poor thing! I tore down an old shed this Spring and the vine has lost its support. I plan to move it when things cool down a bit more.

I'm not familiar with Knapweed - but it is lovely!

    Always enjoy your walks...

    1. Yup, that's Virginia Creeper. It's all over the place up here. That and English Ivy are the darker background plants in the third shot, too.

  3. Taxi services charge by zone too. They will pick you up and drop you off inside a different zone for a flat rate. That means if you are going more than just a few blocks away and are going on an actual long drive you can get it for a flat fee. That means that they can't charge you a bunch of extra money by going down side streets to make you take a longer time. You are set with your zone.
