when october 9 rolls around i always wish i lived in a parallel universe - in this universe john would be having a birthday and also my son who shares his birthday - if they both lived today john would be 71 and sweet tristan would be 21..... what is that they say about the good always die too soon. so true, so true.

Great tribute, Roy. I often wonder, whenever I hear one of his songs, what he might have been like had he been given the chance to live longer.
